"Give freely of what you find and join us. We shall be with you in the Fellowship of the Spirit, and you will surely meet some of us as you trudge the Road of Happy Destiny. May God Bless you and keep you - until then." Reprinted from Alcoholics Anonymous, 4th Edition, page 164, with permission of A.A. World Services, Inc.

Al-Anon Participation

Al-Anon has been an integral part of Fellowship of the Spirit from the beginning. Al-Anon members attend the conference each year, some accompanying the recovering alcoholics in their lives, many attending by themselves or with other Al-Anon members.

There will be Al-Anon participation in the Step workshop panels that are the core of the conference program, where our Al-Anon panelists are encouraged to share their experience strength and hope. One of the conference's five main speakers is an Al-Anon member with a powerful message of recovery!

This year there will be one scheduled Al-Anon meeting with opportunities for spontaneous Al-Anon gatherings throughout the conference. Our Al-Anon meeting is open to everyone interested in learning about the family disease, or in need of an Al-Anon meeting. We will also have an Al-Anon information table to further our primary purpose to help friends and families of alcoholics, and to provide comfort and information to those attending the conference who are affected by the family disease of alcoholism. Please join us!

"Each Al-Anon Family Group has but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics. We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps of AA ourselves, by encouraging and understanding our alcoholic relatives, and by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics." - Tradition Five
